OK so I am about to read this book and it about Ophelia, and the book involves hamlet but l dont nothing about, so l was wondering what is the play by ShakespeareHamlet all about? just some main things to know before l read the book.
(i know absolutely nothing about Hamlet the play.)

its basically hamlet trying to avenge his fathers death, however, before he does it he needs the proof that king claudius actually killed hamlet.
hamlet and ophelia had some love connections, and in the play he totally treats her bad.
